P.S. We think we may have set up the blog wrong, we would like everybody to be an author but we think you can only be readers, which means you can only post by responding using the comment box under one of our posts. We would redo it but thats too much effort for everybody involved so please humor us and just post a blog by using the comments. We hope we can change the settings so you can all be authors or so comments can be scene without having to be clicked upon. Sorry and Thanks!

Monday the 10th
Today we got up (hooray) and walked down the mountain to the bus stop. Once we arrived there we used our intelligent brains to purchase two tickets to Basel, Switzerland (only took us about 15 minutes). We finished as the bus was pulling up and than enjoyed the 10 minute ride into downtown Basel. Once there we window shopped for a bit, Jen did some real shopping, we got her a pair of 180 dollar jeans for 35 and nice wedge shoes on sale for 10. She was pretty excited. We than got some grub; we both ate a thing called Pandina, a flour tortilla folded in half with meat and cheese and other extras. Pretty darn good and rather cheap for the Swiss. We than went and caught a movie, the Proposal, in English, we both enjoyed it. The movie theater sells beer, crazy, and they have a 10 minute intermission, even crazier. After the movie, we met up with a relocaiton specialist and spoke with him for a bit. We than went grocery shopping and than had to walk back up the mountain with all the groceries. Thats about all we did today, no training on mondays so we are gonna spend our night applying for jobs and trying to get the blog and chat and everything working. Fun fun. Catch ya later.

HI JEN AND JORDAN!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's your Minnesota connection.
This blog is very fun and I can't wait to read about your travels and adventures, not to mention what goes on with the wedding. Hobby, I have been doing some dress searching and I am going to send you a couple suggestions. So be on the look out for those. I also will be speaking to you about some recent events that may effect our New Years plans. Still getting together but we'll talk. Love you both, glad to hear you are doing well! We'll talk soon.
Hey Guys!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the emails and blog posts. It sounds like you are having a really good time so far! I hope you are able to get AIM working soon... I have downloaded it on both my work laptop and my home desktop, and I'm ready to chat!
Life in Tulsa is good. School at Bishop Kelley starts tomorrow. Yikes! I received my CDL learner's permit last week and I am taking bus driver class this week. I will soon be able to drive a bus by myself. Not sure I'm ready for that!
Anyway, hope you continue to get settled in your new "home". Love you!!!
